Welcome!

My name is Steve Orkis.

I build custom furniture and built-in cabinetry. I come from a family of custom woodworkers and craftsmen, and I have always loved working with my hands and building my own furniture. Over the past decade, I have been building various pieces for family and friends, and taking on new challenges. I have always envied those who have followed their dreams and started their own business, even if they fell short. My dream, was to live life through my passion of woodworking. After years of waiting, in 2019 I finally had the opportunity (and courage) to bring that dream to life.

For me, creating furniture is creating a connection with the lumber and passing that along for others to enjoy for a lifetime. Do what you think is worth doing, and do it well.
